Responsibilities of the Accounting Tech. : Maintain and support the general ledger, including accurate postings and account updates Perform account reconciliations, ensuring credits and debits are properly verified Process and review financial postings and transactions within the SAGE accounting system Assist with month-end closing activities and preparation of account statements Review financial records for accuracy and assist with resolving discrepancies Support financial reporting and documentation for the Bakersfield College Foundation accounts Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Tech Hands-on experience with SAGE accounting software Ability to verify financial transactions and ensure accuracy in credits and debits
