GMP Cleaner

About the Opportunity:

We are partnering with a growing biopharmaceutical manufacturer to add a dependable and detail-oriented cGMP Cleaner to their team. This is a full-time opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, organized, and compliant work environments.

In this role, you'll play an important part in supporting cleanroom operations by performing routine cleaning, sanitization, stocking, and documentation activities that help ensure the facility meets strict GMP and industry standards. You'll work closely with the manufacturing team to help keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 4:30 AM - 1:00 PM working every other weekend (still only 5 work days a week when working weekend)

Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow all current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) guidelines and facility procedures.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and sanitization activities within controlled cleanroom environments.
  • Clean and disinfect floors, equipment, and designated areas using approved cleanroom disinfectants and cleaning methods.
  • Maintain cleanroom supplies and ensure work areas remain organized and stocked.
  • Complete GMP documentation, records, and logbooks accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), site quality requirements, and safety protocols.
  • Support compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Complete all required training programs, both written and online.
  • Work within a fully gowned cleanroom environment, including the use of head coverings, face masks, gloves, plant shoes, and safety glasses.
  • Contribute to the overall cleanliness, efficiency, and operational flow of the manufacturing facility.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in a GMP-regulated environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing environments is a plus.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to following procedures.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to accurately complete documentation and logbook entries.
  • Capable of lifting and moving 50+ pounds on a regular basis.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift.
  • Comfortable working extended periods in a controlled cleanroom environment while wearing required PPE and gowning.
  • Makeup, nail polish, and jewelry are not permitted in GMP production areas.
