Welder

Ambassador Personnel is hiring an experienced Welder for a 2nd shift direct hire opportunity with one of our manufacturing partners located in Broken Arrow, OK. This position offers competitive pay, shift differential, and the opportunity for wage increases through certification. This position works Monday through Thursday from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM. Overtime, including weekends, may be required and could be mandatory. Reliable attendance is required.

The starting pay is $22.00 per hour with a $1.50 per hour shift differential. After demonstrating the required skill level, employees may become eligible to take the API 1104 test. Upon passing, pay may increase up to $28.00 per hour. Employees may qualify for testing as early as 90 days based on performance and competency.

The Welder is responsible for safely setting up and operating welding equipment to produce quality parts in a timely manner. Duties include adjusting welding machines, performing inspections using precision measuring instruments, completing first-piece and in-process checks, and maintaining equipment and work areas. The role also includes following instructions from supervisors, performing minor maintenance on equipment, requesting supplies, supporting quality programs, assisting in steel assembly and CNC operations when needed, and helping train less experienced employees.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of welding experience or a minimum of six months working as a Welding C-level operator. Applicants must be able to read and interpret blueprints and drawings, have a general understanding of welding processes, and be familiar with precision measuring tools. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently are required. Candidates must also follow all safety requirements and properly use personal protective equipment.
