Job Description
We're a fast-growing company looking for a Drain Technician who enjoys solving problems, building relationships with customers, and helping homeowners restore comfort and convenience to their homes. Much of your work will involve clearing drain stoppages, diagnosing drain issues, operating drain cleaning equipment, and helping customers understand what caused the problem and how to prevent it from happening again. Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve residential drain and sewer stoppages.
- Operate drain cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Perform drain inspections as needed to help identify the cause of recurring issues
- Educate homeowners on findings and recommended next steps.
- Maintain drain equipment, tools, and vehicles.
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members throughout the service process.
Qualifications:
- A plumbing apprentice license.
Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
Strong communication skills and a passion for helping customers.
Ability to lift over 50 lbs, bend, stoop, and work in small spaces or fluctuating temperatures.
Must have a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on continual improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience running drain cleaning equipment
A drain cleaning endorsement or in the process of getting one.
