Position Summary:
We are seeking a Junior HR Business Partner to join a leading financial services organization with operations across the United States. This role will support the HR Business Partner team through the end of 2026 and is ideal for an HR professional seeking to expand their business partnership capabilities while gaining exposure to talent management, employee relations, workforce planning, and HR analytics. The Junior HR Business Partner will connect across HR functions and build the consulting and influencing skills needed for future HRBP growth.
This is a hybrid position working on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in Oaks, PA.
Essential Duties:
- Partner with HR Business Partners to support managers and leaders on employee-related matters.
- Guide HR policies, procedures, and employee programs.
- Assist with workforce planning, talent reviews, and succession planning initiatives.
- Coordinate employee relations case intake, documentation, and investigation support.
- Support performance management, employee engagement, and talent management programs.
- Analyze workforce metrics and prepare reports for leadership reviews.
- Coordinate activities across HR teams, Centers of Excellence, and Shared Services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of progressive HR experience in an HR Generalist, HR Specialist, HR Coordinator, or similar role.
- Foundational knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and HR best practices.
- Experience supporting employee relations and talent management processes.
- Experience utilizing HRIS platforms, preferably Workday.
- Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Skills and Job-Specific Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of Human Resources Operations and HR best practices.
- Experience managing Employee Relations matters and resolving workplace issues.
- Demonstrated expertise in Performance Management and employee development.
- Knowledge of Talent Management, Workforce Planning, and Succession Planning processes.
- Ability to interpret, apply, and communicate HR policies and procedures.
- Experience utilizing HR Analytics, workforce metrics, and reporting to support business decisions.
- Proven project coordination and organizational effectiveness experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with Workday or a comparable Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
- Ability to build and maintain effective business partnerships and stakeholder relationships.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Experience supporting change management and organizational initiatives.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Strong collaboration, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple functions and organizational levels.
- Demonstrated organizational agility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Experience supporting leaders in a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) capacity.
- Experience working in a complex, matrixed, or rapidly changing organization.
- Knowledge of organizational development and employee engagement practices.
- Ability to influence and drive positive business outcomes through HR initiatives.
