Salary Range: $161,320.73 - $206,574.44 annually

Position Overview:We are in search of a committed Director of Nursing to oversee the Oncology Unit at the Morris Cancer Center.
Qualifications:- Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program and hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the state.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in acute nursing, including a minimum of one year in a nursing leadership role.
- Must have at least one year of experience in Bone Marrow Transplant and Oncology leadership.
- OCN, BMT Certification, and ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certificate are preferred or must be obtained within one year.
- Additional certifications as mandated by law, statute, or regulation for the specialty area.
- Completion of all Orientation Programs is required.
- Full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week.
- Ensure the delivery of quality, age-appropriate nursing care to all patients in the unit, adhering to the hospital's philosophy, policies, and procedures.
- Assist in developing patient care standards, orientation programs, and ongoing education.
- Evaluate staff performance in line with organizational policies.
- Develop, implement, and manage the unit's budget.
- Engage in nursing quality assurance initiatives.
- Oversee unit administration, including scheduling and supply management.
- Maintain clinical and management skills, staying updated on current healthcare trends, and serve as a resource for staff.
- Provide nursing administrative coverage as needed.
- Encourage staff involvement in Nursing Quality improvement activities and identify trends in quality issues related to patient care; prepare reports and implement changes to enhance patient care.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of hospital policies and procedures regarding nursing practice and personnel management.
- Review, analyze, and implement action plans aimed at improving patient care and satisfaction.
