Overview

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Technology Data Modeler with expertise in data architecture, marketing technology platforms, and cloud-based data ecosystems. This role will be responsible for designing and optimizing scalable data models that support customer analytics, audience segmentation, personalization, attribution, and customer engagement initiatives across enterprise marketing platforms.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with data modeling methodologies, cloud data platforms, MarTech ecosystems, and large-scale customer data environments.

Duration: Ongoing Contract

Key Responsibilities
  • Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for customer data platforms, CRM systems, and marketing technology solutions.
  • Build scalable customer data models supporting Customer 360, segmentation, attribution, personalization, and campaign analytics.
  • Develop and maintain data schemas for structured and semi-structured marketing data.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate data across enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and marketing applications.
  • Define data mappings, transformations, and data flows between source systems and downstream activation platforms.
  • Establish data standards, governance practices, metadata management, and documentation processes.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, compliance, and lineage across marketing data assets.
  • Enable advanced analytics, predictive modeling, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives.
  • Partner with marketing, analytics, product, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
Required Skills
  • Advanced data modeling experience including dimensional modeling, star schemas, snowflake schemas, and Data Vault.
  • Strong SQL expertise and experience with modern cloud data platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks, BigQuery, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with marketing technology platforms such as Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce, Segment, and Customer Data Platforms (CDPs).
  • Strong understanding of customer journeys, segmentation, attribution, and marketing analytics.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and data integration tools.
  • Knowledge of dbt, Airflow, Talend, Matillion, Kafka, and related technologies is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Required Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in data modeling, data architecture, analytics engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience designing enterprise-scale marketing and customer data models.
  • Proven experience working with large datasets and cloud-based data environments.
  • Experience supporting analytics, reporting, and data science initiatives.
  • Strong background collaborating with cross-functional business and technical teams.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
