Mechanical Engineer
Job Description Job Description Leading Bryan County area manufacturing facility is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer You will prepare detailed working diagrams of machinery as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. Responsibilities: * Communicate effectively with our Production Team to understand production challenges and design strategies to solve them * Make assembly models, drawings, 2D drawings and 3D models in SolidWorks * Make and revise Machine Manual and Technical Specs * Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials * Write non-conformity reports stating problems that may arise in the field or in production * Test and modify design solutions until product is ready for approval and installation in the manufacturing environment * Occasionally travel to client site to problem solve design challenges in the field Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree required preferably in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering * Minimum 2 years' experience in Mechanical Design * Familiarity with CAD or other related software (SolidWorks) * Knowledge of manufacturing processes required such as Metal Cutting, Bending, Welding and Machining * Knowledge of materials for mechanical design such as pins, bushings, bearings, gears, cables, cylinders and springs * Basic knowledge of strength of materials required Company Description Superior opportunity for the right individual!
