Commercial Lending & Finance Associate Attorney

We are partnered with a highly regarded law firm to support the growth of its Commercial Lending & Finance practice. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team advising financial institutions, private lenders, and corporate borrowers on a wide range of sophisticated financing transactions.

Commercial Lending Attorney Responsibilities:

• Represent lenders and borrowers in a variety of commercial finance transactions, including secured and unsecured lending arrangements
• Draft, review, and negotiate loan agreements, credit facilities, security documents, and related financing materials
• Assist with structuring transactions, including acquisition financing, asset-based lending, and revolving credit facilities
• Conduct due diligence reviews and support closings by coordinating documentation and managing transaction timelines
• Advise clients on collateral, perfection, and priority issues under the UCC
• Work closely with senior attorneys and clients to identify risks and ensure smooth execution of transactions

Commercial Lending Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admitted to practice (or ability to waive in)
• 2+ years of experience in commercial lending, finance, or general transactional work at a law firm
• Experience drafting and negotiating loan documents and related agreements preferred
• Familiarity with secured transactions and UCC concepts is a plus
• Strong analytical, drafting, and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple matters and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with clients
