The Department of Neurosurgery at our organization is on the lookout for a dedicated full-time neurosurgeon. We are particularly interested in candidates who have a passion for complex spine surgery, neurotrauma, and general neurosurgery.
As an academic institution affiliated with a prominent university, we play a vital role in training residents from local neurosurgery programs, spine fellows, and medical students. Our facility is recognized as the most experienced and busiest Level I trauma center in the region and holds certification as a Comprehensive Stroke Center. The Neurosurgery Department offers robust support for a diverse clinical practice, specialized focus areas, and research initiatives. We welcome both clinical and bench research interests. All staff members are appointed as faculty at the university, and academic rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality neurosurgical care with a focus on complex spine, neurotrauma, and general neurosurgery.
- Engage in teaching and mentoring residents and medical students.
- Participate in clinical and research activities within the department.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of neurosurgeons, orthopedic spine surgeons, neuro-intensivists, and pain management specialists.
- Board certified or eligible for certification in neurosurgery.
- Eligible for licensure in the state of Ohio.
- Strong interpersonal, clinical, and teaching abilities.
