Critical Care Physician

Our organization is on the lookout for dedicated critical care trained physicians to enhance our team for daytime ICU coverage at a prominent hospital in Nashville. This role will involve working in various critical care units, including Cardiovascular, Surgical, and Neurological departments. We welcome both seasoned professionals and recent graduates to apply. While experience in CVICU is advantageous, it is not a strict requirement.

• Provide daytime coverage from Monday to Friday, for a minimum of 26 weeks each year.
• Participate in a collaborative care team model alongside Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
• Optionally provide anesthesia coverage if desired.

• A strong ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

This position is strictly dayshift, with no requirements for nights, weekends, or holidays.

The hospital is recognized as the busiest cardiac center in Tennessee, featuring the largest robotic cardiac surgery program in the state. It serves as a center for advanced heart failure and heart transplant services, offering a comprehensive range of mechanical circulatory support.

Additionally, the facility is a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center, equipped with a dedicated 14-bed neurological ICU.
