We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to become a part of our well-established, hospital-based team. This role involves overseeing a medically directed program that includes four Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs).

The base salary for this position ranges from $552,465 (50th percentile according to MGMA for recent graduates) with additional compensation based on experience.

• Note: A 5% reduction applies for those who are not yet board certified, with salary adjustments made upon certification.
• This position is offered under a two-year contract, which includes:

• Vacation: 272 hours of Paid Time Off (PTO)
• CME/Books & Journals: 5 days of PTO and up to $5,000 for educational resources
• Deferred Compensation: Participation in a 457b plan, allowing deferral of compensation up to the IRS limit of $23,500 annually before taxes, with no matching contributions.
• Retirement/Savings Plan: A 403b plan that permits deferral of compensation up to $23,500 annually for those under 50 years old, and $31,000 for those over 50, with a dollar-for-dollar match up to 2% of base salary.
• Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000 paid directly to a moving company
• Malpractice Insurance: Coverage under a claims-made policy, providing $2,000,000 per claim and $6,000,000 in aggregate
• Health Insurance: A small premium is deducted from the physician's paycheck
• Liquidated Damages: A non-compete clause of 70 miles for two years, or liquidated damages equivalent to one year’s salary
• On-Call Compensation Program: Details provided by the CFO
• Medical School Loan Repayment: Up to $200,000, with $25,000 per year for each year of service commitment
• Residency Stipend: Up to $25,000, requiring a service commitment of up to two years
• Sign-On Bonus: 15% of the base salary, capped at $100,000, payable upon contract signing and forgiven over 2 to 4 years based on the bonus amount
• Bonus Incentives: Opportunities for bonuses up to 10% of salary

Location: Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, OH

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (with cases starting at 7:30 a.m.); hours may extend for additional surgical cases.

• Weekday call: 1:5, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Weekend call: 1:5, from Friday 7:00 a.m. to Monday 7:00 a.m.
