We are seeking a creative and compassionate professional to join our Recreation Department, working with residents in our TBI Neuro Behavioral Program. This is a meaningful opportunity for someone passionate about education, mental health, and therapeutic engagement.

DUTIES:

  • Assess residents' cognitive and functional levels

  • Plan and implement educational and cognitively stimulating programs

  • Lead group and one-on-one sessions tailored to individual needs and abilities

  • Support residents with cognitive, mental health, and physical disabilities

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to enhance quality of life through structured programming

  • Maintain appropriate documentation and progress notes

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Services, Psychology, Human Development, Mental Health, or a related field preferred

  • Experience working with individuals with cognitive or behavioral challenges is a plus

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Creative, empathetic, and team-oriented approach

  • Must be reliable, organized, and motivated to engage residents in meaningful activities
