Responsibilities
Elevate your nursing career as an Assistant Director of Nursing, where you will assist the Director of Nursing in delivering efficient and effective nursing care, ensuring positive clinical outcomes, and enhancing satisfaction for patients, families, and employees.
- Act as a clinical operational liaison between nursing units and the Director of Nursing.
- Oversee the quality of clinical operations within nursing units, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, practice standards, and regulations.
- Work alongside the Director of Nursing to formulate, allocate, and manage the nursing department's budget.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and mentor staff to practice at the highest level of their licenses.
- Assist with nurse staffing, including performance evaluations, interviews, and orientation for new nurses.
Qualifications
- Must possess a degree from an accredited nursing school, college, or university and hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State Board of Nursing.
- A minimum of 3 years of full-time or equivalent clinical experience is required, with at least 2 years in a supervisory nursing role within a long-term care environment.
- Knowledge of the MDS process, state nurse practice acts, and both state and federal regulations is essential.
- Availability for on-call duties is necessary.

Posted Salary Range
USD $90,000.00 - USD $95,000.00 per year.
