Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Previous experience as a General Education Teacher or similar role working with early childhood/prekindergarten
- Holds required state teaching certification for the PreK level
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to individual learning needs
- Creative, patient, and enthusiastic about working with young children
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for PreK students aligned with curriculum standards
- Establish a positive, supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages social, emotional, and cognitive growth
- Conduct ongoing assessment of student progress and modify instruction as needed
- Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families to maximize student achievement
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and incidents in accordance with school policies
- Attend professional development, staff meetings, and participate in school activities as required
