Our client is seeking a General Liability/Civil Litigation Paralegal to join its growing legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and enjoys supporting attorneys through all phases of complex general liability cases.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide litigation support to attorneys handling General Liability matters from case inception through resolution.
- Draft, edit, proofread, and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, correspondence, and other legal documents.
- Assist with case management, including maintaining case files, tracking deadlines, and managing litigation calendars.
- Prepare and organize exhibits, deposition materials, trial binders, and hearing notebooks.
- Coordinate document production, review, and electronic document management.
- File legal documents electronically in state and federal courts.
- Review medical records, discovery responses, and case-related documents.
- Communicate professionally with clients, experts, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors.
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, depositions, mediations, and hearings.
- Maintain accurate billing records and time entries, as required.
- 2+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in General Liability or Insurance Defense.
- Strong understanding of the litigation process and court procedures.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Professional demeanor and commitment to providing high-quality legal support.
