Job Description

Our organization is on the lookout for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiologist to become a part of our esteemed practice. We are dedicated to enhancing the physical, mental, and emotional health of the communities we serve. Our commitment lies in achieving clinical excellence, providing compassionate care, and continuously improving the quality of life for both our patients and healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for both inpatient and outpatient environments, with a focus on clinical cardiology and imaging. While additional training in imaging techniques such as cardiac CTA, MRI, heart failure management, advanced echocardiography, and structural heart imaging is advantageous, it is not mandatory.

This role presents an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise and contribute to a program that is expanding beyond the current capacity of our existing team. Our practice consists of a blend of experienced and newer physicians, allowing for a collaborative environment. You will benefit from an immediate patient base due to a robust multi-specialty and primary care referral network, as well as the transition of retiring physicians. We offer a comprehensive range of cardiology services, including:

  • Structural heart program
  • Advanced electrophysiology
  • Impella-assisted PCI and shock treatment
  • Coronary CTA with FFR
  • Cardiac MRI
  • Heart failure clinic
  • CardioMEMS
  • Cardio-thoracic and vascular surgery

There are also opportunities for outreach clinic development, teaching Family Medicine residents, faculty appointments at a local medical school, participation in clinical research, committee involvement, and leadership roles. Our cardiovascular program has been recognized among the top 50 in the nation twice in the past decade. A complete renovation and expansion of our office space to accommodate additional physicians is set to be completed in 2023. You will only need to cover one hospital, which is conveniently connected to our office via a skyway. An inpatient team will handle all new consultations and follow-ups, allowing you to leave on time on days when you are not on hospital rotation. You will have the flexibility to tailor your practice according to your training and interests.

Join a large team of respected Cardiologists, including Interventional, Electrophysiologists, and Non-Invasive specialists. Nurse Practitioners will support you in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

  • Weekend and weekday call schedule of 1:4 to 1:6
  • Become part of an integrated physician/hospital program aimed at enhancing the service line, securing specialized care contracts, and sharing savings through collaborative decision-making to improve efficiency.
