General Cardiologist
Job Description
Our organization is seeking a qualified, board-certified or board-eligible General Cardiologist to fulfill the healthcare needs of the community! Become part of a well-established team consisting of 8 physicians and 7 physician assistants. Situated in State College, PA, our medical center is a 260-bed acute care facility, with a new, advanced bed tower set to open in the fall of 2026, ensuring all medical and surgical rooms will be fully private. Position Overview:
Full-time role; Inpatient/Outpatient; Cardiology consultation coverage at the hospital (no inpatient cardiovascular services, only consultations)
Team includes 3 General Cardiologists, 2 Interventional Cardiologists, 2 Electrophysiologists, and 6 Cardiology Physician Assistants
On-call rotation is 1:5
Device Clinic available for patients with pacemakers and cardiac implants
1 Catheterization Lab
1 Vascular/Electrophysiology Lab
1 Cardiac CT expected to be operational by early 2027
5 Special Procedures Rooms — 2 Vascular and 3 Echocardiography rooms on-site, plus 2 Echo rooms at outreach locations
Electronic Medical Records system: Epic
1 Vascular Surgeon and 1 Vascular Physician Assistant share the Cardiology practice space
Compensation and Benefits:
Attractive base salary plus wRVU production incentives
Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance
Sign-on bonus of $100,000
