Position Overview and Qualifications

As a Registered Nurse, your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality, patient-focused care in accordance with departmental requirements and state-specific practice standards. You will collaborate with healthcare providers and the care team to deliver personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, adhering to established nursing frameworks such as ‘Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.’ Additionally, you will serve as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure an exceptional patient experience and favorable clinical outcomes.


Key Responsibilities in this Role:

  • Evaluate the patient’s condition upon admission and during each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in their status.

  • Carry out procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care in the patient’s medical record. Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient for therapeutic responses, and take appropriate actions in case of any adverse reactions.

  • Deliver outstanding care by responding swiftly to patient requests, proactively anticipating their needs, and addressing them effectively.

  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient’s medical condition, treatment plan, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up actions, ensuring they fully understand by simplifying complex medical terminology.

Required Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse license

  • Associate Degree in Nursing

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or instructor status must be obtained within one year of starting employment

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or instructor status must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or instructor status must be obtained within one year of starting employment

  • Minimum of one year of RN experience required
