Medium sized civil defense law firm located in Lafayette Square is seeking a full-time litigation defense associate. The associate will have the opportunity to gain experience and mentorship from a team of attorneys with many years of trial experience who provide an engaging environment for training and professional development. The associate can expect to be involved in all aspects of file workup including taking depositions, attending court hearings, and preparing pleadings, among other responsibilities as they arise. The firm is seeking candidates with 3 to 5 years of civil litigation experience in one or more of the following areas: transportation liability, premises liability, product liability, and general liability. Missouri law license is required and dual licensure with Illinois is a plus. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with strong communication, organizational, research, analytical and writing skills. Firm cannot consider candidates with plaintiff asbestos experience due to conflict(s). Competitive salary range.
