Responsibilities
- Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
- Conduct depositions, court appearances, hearings, and mediations
- Develop case strategy and provide legal analysis
- Work directly with clients and opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes
- Handle matters involving real estate, mortgage, commercial, and general civil litigation issues
- Licensed to practice law in Michigan
- Strong litigation experience with the ability to independently manage a caseload
- Preferred experience in real estate, mortgage, or commercial litigation
- Insurance defense experience preferred
- Excellent written, oral advocacy, and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail and client service orientation
- Competitive salary of $120,000-$150,000, commensurate with experience
