Medix is honored to recruit an oncology Physician Assistant for a permanent role at an elite clinical research institute. This position plays a key role in delivering diagnostic, therapeutic, preventive, and survivorship care specifically for breast cancer patients under the direction of an attending physician. This environment seamlessly merges world-class clinical oncology care with breakthrough clinical research trials.Essential Responsibilities:
Conducting comprehensive clinical patient visits, gathering in-depth medical histories, and updating charts.
Overseeing chemotherapy/infusion patients and actively monitoring for adverse reactions or side effects.
Managing side effects of active oncology therapy, performing physical exams, and ordering/interpreting laboratory or radiological diagnostic studies.
Developing and implementing patient management plans, including specialty and social services referrals.
Writing appropriate medication prescriptions and participating directly in survivorship planning and patient/family educational counseling.
