Launch Your Career in Telecom
Looking to break into the telecom industry? This paid training program is designed for individuals with field experience who want to build hands-on technical skills and transition into a long-term career.
You’ll complete a 5-day hybrid Coax/Fiber training program (fully paid, hourly) and, upon successful completion, step directly into a full-time Coax Splicer role supporting critical network infrastructure.
What You’ll Get

  • Paid 5-day Hybrid Coax/Fiber Network Training (hourly pay)
  • Hands-on experience with telecom infrastructure and field tools
  • Direct hire opportunity as a Coax Splicer after completion
  • Clear career path into Fiber Splicing (advanced training + progression opportunities)
  • Long-term career growth in a high-demand industry

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair network infrastructure in the field
  • Use specialized tools for splicing and cable termination
  • Test and analyze network performance to ensure connectivity
  • Read and interpret network design prints and documentation
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain organized field practices

What We’re Looking For

  • Interest in working in a hands-on, field-based role
  • Previous field experience (construction, utilities, telecom, or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn technical skills
  • Ability to work outdoors and in varying field environments
  • Valid driver’s license

Requirements

  • Must be located in or near Buffalo / Niagara Falls, NY
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Work Environment / Schedule

  • Field-based role supporting inside and outside plant environments
  • Monday–Friday schedule

Why This Opportunity Stands Out
This is a rare opportunity to enter the telecom industry without prior splicing experience, gain paid technical training, and step into a direct hire role. From there, you’ll continue to build your skillset—progressing from coax into fiber splicing, one of the most in-demand and highest-value roles in telecom.
