Bad Faith Insurance Attorney

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bad Faith Insurance Attorney to join our legal team. In this role, you will lead complex litigation and legal negotiations related to insurance claims where insurers are accused of acting in bad faith. Your expertise will help protect clients’ rights and ensure fair handling of insurance disputes. The ideal candidate is passionate about advocacy, possesses strong analytical skills, and has a comprehensive understanding of various legal areas including insurance law, litigation, and legal research.

Responsabilities:

Manage and litigate cases involving bad faith claims against insurance companies, ensuring thorough investigation and strategic case development

Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and other legal documents with precision and clarity

Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for clients while maintaining professional integrity

Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and administrative hearings related to insurance disputes

Requirements:

Admission to the state bar in Colorado and active legal license

Experience handling insurance law cases with a focus on bad faith litigation.

Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successfully resolving complex disputes outside of court when appropriate

Excellent writing skills for drafting clear legal documents and persuasive arguments

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience as a public defender or work in a government prosecutor’s office. (highly valued but not required).

Strong oral and written communication skills in Spanish (Preferred but not required).

Employment Type: Full-time Location: 6020 Greenwood Plaza Bvld, Suite B, Greenewood Village, CO 80111. Pay: $80,000 - $90,000 per year
