The main responsibility of this position is assisting students, faculty, staff and the community by accepting and recording all payments made to the college and answering student account questions either in person, at the payment window, or by phone or email.
Examples Of DutiesEducation: A high school diploma or GED certificate from an accredited institution. An associate's degree from an accredited institution with major coursework in accounting, finance, or business administration is preferred.
Experience: One (1) year of experience performing related work preferred. Experience with cash handling is preferred.
Skills and the Know-How: The ideal candidate will possess strong personal and professional integrity, good verbal and written communication skills, and a commitment to safety. Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite or similar products, accounting & database systems, College email and website, and other computer applications associated with the position. Ability to prioritize multiple assignments, adapt to changing priorities and situations, and follow-through on the completion of assignments. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with persons contacted in the course of work. Ability to prepare clear, complete, and concise reports.
