Job Summary

Supports production by observing processes, measuring work time, collecting data, and identifying improvements. Helps optimize manpower, reduce waste, and improve efficiency through simple analysis and practical suggestions on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Tasks

1. Observe the Line

• Watch how work is done at each step

• Example: fiber feeding, nozzle, bagging, packing

2. Measure Time

• Use a stopwatch to record how long each activity takes
• Note delays or waiting time

3. Record Data

• Write down production numbers, downtime, and issues
• Maintain simple Excel sheets

4. Find Problems

• Identify where time is getting wasted
• Look for:
  • Waiting time
  • Extra movement
  • Operator idle time

5. Suggest Improvements

• Give simple ideas to improve work
• Example:
  • Reduce walking distance
  • Better arrangement of material
  • Balance work between operators

6. Help in Documentation

• Support in making SOPs (step-by-step work instructions)
• Draw simple process flow diagrams
