Brief Job OverviewThis is a senior scientific leadership role to support the advancement and transformation of USP’s compendial science. The role is responsible for ensuring the scientific rigor, consistency, and global relevance of USP standards, science, and policy as new scientific advances, emerging medicine modalities, and evolving manufacturing technologies reshape pharmaceutical development and quality expectations. Working across scientific, regulatory, and operational teams, the Vice President leads science‑quality strategies aligned with USP’s Science Quality Framework, supports readiness for digital transformation and modern pharmaceutical trends, and advances pharmacopeial collaboration and harmonization. The role also strengthens USP’s scientific voice through effective knowledge dissemination and stakeholder engagement.

CompensationBase Salary Range: USD $270,000.00 – $325,000.00 annually.
