(based on experience) + benefit package; Monday-Friday (full-time + additional hours may be required during tax season)</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></div><ul type="disc"><li>Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts and nonprofits </li><li>Review client financial records and ensure accurate tax reporting </li><li>Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules </li><li>Perform bookkeeping and account reconciliations </li><li>Assist clients with tax planning and compliance matters </li><li>Research tax issues and stay current on tax law changes </li><li>Communicate with clients to gather information and answer questions </li><li>Support payroll tax reporting and sales tax filings as needed </li><li>Work closely with staff to meet deadlines and client needs </li></ul><div><br></div><ul type="disc"><li>Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field </li><li>CPA, CPA candidate, EA, or equivalent experience preferred </li><li>Experience working in a CPA firm or public accounting environment </li><li>Knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel </li><li>Experience preparing individual and business tax returns </li><li>Knowledge of federal and state tax regulations </li><li>Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements </li><li>Proficiency with tax preparation and accounting software </li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational, time management and customer relations skills</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication abilities </li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines </li></ul><div><br></div><div>Apply online and/or at 1731 Southridge Drive, Jefferson City.</div><div><br></div><div>110969</div><div><br></div><div>#BB</div>PandoLogic.
