FUNCTION: The Business Analyst I assist in delivering cost effective technological and nontechnological solutions by gathering, analyzing, and communicating project requirements. This role provides reporting, project support, and system administration in support of Strategic Initiatives. The Business Analyst I also contribute to operational support, process improvement, system testing, documentation, and compliance related efforts to ensure solutions meet business needs, regulatory requirements, and organizational goals.

EDUCATION REQUIRED: A college degree (BS or BA in a relevant field).
MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY: Has no supervisory/managerial responsibilities.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Three to five years of relevant experience, with demonstrated ability to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and support project initiatives.
Strong analytical and product/project management capabilities, with a proven ability to interpret business needs and convert them into effective system and operational requirements.
Strong documentation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with executives, managers, and subject matter experts. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with a demonstrated willingness to learn in an evolving department.
Experience in a financial services or regulated environment is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive customer, financial, and internal operational information with discretion and professionalism.
