Medical Front Office Supervisor

We are seeking a Supervisor for our front end office. Must have 3+ yrs. medical office experience.

Seeking very focused, dependable, fast-paced, fast learner, self-starter, highly motivated, multitasking, and team-oriented professional to come join our Family.

Looking for a professional appearance, outgoing personality combined with the appropriate level of discretion necessary for an upscale physicians office. Seeking well-qualified candidates with excellent communication skills and able to scribe and have a dynamic personality. Must have exceptional multi-tasking abilities and the ability to work in a fast paced medical office. Bilingual is a plus.

**It does require traveling within our Celebration Office Wednesday afternoons **

You Will Be Responsible For:

• Oversees the receptionists, check in, check out, verification, referrals and appointment schedulers.
• Keeps all front office staff up to date on any insurance changes or policy changes.
• Secures coverage for front desk in the event of vacations.
• Ensures that daily charges are entered in the absence of Data/Charge Entry staff.
• Ensures that charts are complete for medical records requests.
• Reports potential problems to Office Manager to ensure smooth operations.
• Greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner.
• Takes accurate and legible messages, which include time, date and initials.
• Answers non-clinical questions for patients and family members and routes all other calls correctly.
• Annotates patient arrivals, no shows and cancellations correctly in EMR system.
• Enters new patient demographics, verifies, and updates existing patient demographic data.
• Verifies charts for new patients prior to patient's arrival.
• Completes special projects or performs other duties

Requirements:

• Pass a drug screen and full background check
• 3+ years in Medical Office (Supervisor experience preferred)
• 2-3 References or more
• Must be proficient and use EHR system (Eclinical Works is a plus), and have excellent typing skills
• Must have excellent customer service skills, detail to patient care, verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be computer literate and dedicated to performing quality patient care.

Salary based on experience
