Member Resources Specialist

The Member Resources Specialist provides members with exceptional customer service when processing payments for water usage, assessment dues and other related fees. Specialist will assist members with inquiries and sales relating to membership, water service, amenities and resolution of customer's issues. May require independent judgment in the disposition of routine matters without direct supervision. Will work under the direct supervision of the Member Resources Manager.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Prepare and reconcile cash drawer for the day's business and prepare bank deposit
  • Accurately apply charges for sale of amenities, payments for water usage and assessment dues
  • Enter and update water work orders
  • Complete necessary documents and forms for membership activities, designation of new members and their water service
  • Apply basic knowledge of different types of deeds
  • Operate computer and camera to create and print activity cards
  • Respond to telephone orders, requests, and inquiries accurately and in a timely manner
  • Accept, update, and verify contact information for members
  • Analyze and resolve member complaints and issues relating to their water or assessment statements
  • Assist or take ownership of an area of concentration such as RV and boat storage, property transfers, welcome packets, and guest cards

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Must have a High School education or up to 3+ years of related experience or training.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Must be proficient with a 10-key calculator.
  • Must have a positive, enthusiastic personality and customer service experience is preferred.
  • Good oral and written communication skills. Bilingual is a plus.
