Expected Work Schedule

This is a full-time role.

  • Work hours: Tuesday to Friday from 8 AM to 6:30 PM OR Monday to Thursday from 8 AM to 6:30 PM
  • Some holidays may be required (when applicable)

Compensation

  • Starting at $23 per hour

Requirements

Your Role

As a Cardiology Veterinary Technician, you will collaborate closely with our board-certified cardiologist to assist patients throughout their treatment journey, from diagnosis to follow-up care. You will provide a steady, compassionate presence for both patients and their families.

In this position, you will:

  • Administer medications and chemotherapy under the guidance of an oncologist
  • Assist with diagnostics, including laboratory tests, imaging, and CT scans
  • Support oncology appointments and help manage patient flow and scheduling
  • Maintain accurate medical records, treatment notes, and medication logs
  • Provide empathetic communication and education to clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Radiology
  • Deliver emotional support and patient-centered care at every stage of treatment

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Veterinary Assistant with relevant experience
  • Experience in specialty medicine and/or cardiology is preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Confidence in a fast-paced, collaborative setting
  • Familiarity with veterinary medical software (e.g., EzyVet, SmartFlow) is a plus
  • A positive attitude and dedication to compassionate care
