This role is situated at the Department of Medicine within our organization’s medical facility located at Ft. Bragg, NC.

Our facility is a dynamic teaching hospital with a growing focus on medical education.

Fayetteville, the city where we are based, is a progressive community with a population of 175,000, beautifully positioned between the Appalachian Mountains and the pristine beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. The area boasts a wealth of historic landmarks, museums, entertainment options, a charming downtown, and award-winning golf courses. Responsibilities

As a Physician specializing in Non-Invasive Cardiology, your duties will include:

  • Assessing patients by utilizing both laboratory and clinical findings to determine suitable treatment options or referrals to specialized clinics.
  • Providing continuous care for chronic conditions and their complications, including valvular heart disease, ischemic heart disease, congestive heart failure, hypertension, and arrhythmias.
  • Exercising independent judgment in selecting and conducting a comprehensive range of diagnostic procedures for patients.
  • Collaborating with specialists from other subspecialties on cases that present complex and multifaceted challenges.
  • Overseeing medical students, interns, and residents as they deliver medical care within the Cardiology clinic.
Qualifications

Applicants must be U.S. citizens.

Must hold Board Certification.

Candidates are required to possess a permanent, full, and unrestricted medical license to practice in a U.S. state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory.

A Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from a recognized institution in the United States or Canada is necessary, accredited by a recognized body at the time of graduation. Alternatively, a Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from an international medical school that offers education and medical knowledge comparable to accredited U.S. institutions may be validated through permanent certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) or a fifth pathway certificate for individuals who completed their premedical education in the U.S. and graduate education abroad.
