We are thrilled to announce a fantastic opening for a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Clinician Educator to become part of the faculty at our Internal Medicine Residency Program located at Saint Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, Connecticut. This program is proudly affiliated with the Yale University School of Medicine.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical supervision in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Teach and mentor residents and medical students.
- Contribute to curriculum development.
- Deliver noon conferences and grand rounds presentations.
- Participate in research initiatives and program administration.
This role offers a balanced mix of clinical and academic responsibilities, fostering professional growth and supporting the personal career aspirations of our faculty members.
Qualifications- Must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
- A strong interest in academic medicine, with prior teaching and leadership experience preferred.
Faculty members will have the opportunity to hold academic appointments at both the Yale School of Medicine and the Frank H. Netter School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University, providing avenues for teaching, mentorship, and academic progression. Additionally, faculty can achieve associate professor status by meeting specific criteria.
