Title: OR Tech - Surgical Tech

Salary Range: $1,344.00 - $1,728.00 weekly (base gross), based on a standard 40-hour work week (5 days of 8 hours each); this translates to an hourly rate of $33.60 – $43.20.

Become a part of a dynamic surgical tech team. We are looking for a seasoned Travel OR Tech for a 12-week role in a fast-paced perioperative environment.

• Prepare and organize sterile instruments and supplies for designated surgical procedures
• Ensure the maintenance of a sterile field during each operation
• Support the surgeon by anticipating needs and providing sterile instruments and supplies during procedures

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND TRAINING

1. A High School Diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience is mandatory for new hires as of April 2014.
2. Completion of an ORT training program or equivalent on-the-job training, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a surgical setting preferred.
3. Proficiency in scrubbing for both minor and major procedures across general surgical specialties (e.g., GYN, General, and Plastics).
4. Experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in specialized surgical areas (e.g., ortho, neuro, ENT, Urology, etc.).
5. A current BLS (AHA) certification is required upon hire and must be maintained.
6. At least one (1) year of experience as an OR Tech is required.

Our organization provides competitive pay, with an estimated hourly rate for this position ranging from $33.60 to $43.20. This estimate is specific to California and has not been adjusted for other locations. The precise starting salary will be determined during the hiring process, taking into account various factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
