Job Description
Our organization, recognized as New Jersey's largest and most comprehensive integrated health system, is in search of a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to become a part of the Division of Cardiology at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center (NBIMC).
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic, academically driven, multi-site cardiovascular program. The position involves providing inpatient services, advanced cardiovascular imaging, and outpatient cardiology across NBIMC, Rahway University Hospital, and associated Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs).
Position OverviewThe ideal candidate will deliver high-quality, patient-focused care while enhancing advanced cardiac programs. As an integral member of the Division, you will engage actively in our academic, teaching, and quality initiatives, with the possibility of obtaining a faculty appointment at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Care: Deliver expert inpatient services within the CCU and cardiology consult teams, collaborating with top-tier specialists in heart failure, transplant, and cardiac surgery.
Cardiovascular Imaging: Offer expertise in the Imaging Laboratories at NBIMC and Rahway, including Echocardiography (TTE/TEE), Stress Testing, and Coronary CT/MRI.
Ambulatory Practice: Sustain a longitudinal outpatient practice that emphasizes preventive cardiology and chronic disease management across hospital clinics and community-based FQHCs.
Academic Mission: Educate and supervise cardiology fellows, residents, and medical students, with teaching and conference participation integrated into clinical responsibilities.
Quality & Leadership: Engage in clinical quality enhancement, laboratory accreditation, and departmental performance metrics.
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease; Level II or III Echo training is preferred.
Must be eligible for medical licensure in New Jersey.
Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, interdisciplinary collaboration, and academic medicine.
Open to both seasoned physicians and fellows graduating in 2026.

The expected salary range for this position is between $415,806 and $660,933. The final compensation offered will be influenced by various factors, including the candidate's educational qualifications, skills, and professional experience.
