We are looking for several Independent Medical Examination (IME) providers to serve New York State, including the five boroughs and Long Island, specifically in the field of Neurology.

Essential Information:

• No direct patient interaction: IME assessments consist solely of observation and evaluation, with no physical contact or treatment involved.
• Case assessment: Providers are required to review case logs before processing insurance claims.
• Provider availability: We need multiple professionals to ensure comprehensive coverage throughout New York State, particularly in the five boroughs and Long Island.
• Certification requirement: A certification in Workers' Compensation is mandatory.
• Credentialing process: Providers must complete the Certificate of Insurance (COI) credentialing, which typically takes a few days.
• Malpractice protection: Malpractice insurance coverage will be provided.

Position Overview:

• Conduct examinations similar to expert witness evaluations (no treatment or ongoing care involved, resulting in lower liability).
• No patient-provider relationship is formed, which greatly minimizes liability risks.
• Support staff and scribes will assist with documentation and clinical processes.
