POSITION OVERVIEWThe Physical Therapist (PT) plays a crucial role in delivering a wide array of physical therapy services. This includes assessing patients, creating treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions within a collaborative, interdisciplinary setting, all while adhering to professional standards and ethical practices.
Licenses and Certifications- Must possess and maintain a valid state PT license or certification.
- Current CPR certification is preferred.
- Education: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Experience: 0-1 years preferred.
- Perform comprehensive assessments to determine patients’ physical conditions, functional limitations, and rehabilitation requirements.
- Create and execute individualized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities aimed at enhancing patients’ physical capabilities.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding exercise methods, posture, body mechanics, and effective condition management strategies.
- Keep precise and current documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in line with facility policies and regulatory standards.
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
