Requirements
- Candidates must be board certified in Neurology by the ABPN.
- Fellowship training and board certification/eligibility in either Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology is required.
- Clinical neurophysiology training should emphasize EEG, including hands-on experience in routine and complex neurophysiology, particularly in critical care EEG monitoring.
- Candidates must hold or be eligible for a Michigan Medical License.
Duties & Responsibilities
A typical day may involve:
- Conducting clinical duties in an ambulatory setting at one of our clinic locations in Ann Arbor, Livingston, Livonia, or Chelsea.
- Working hours are generally from 8 am to 5 pm, including lunch breaks.
- Attending necessary division, provider, and section meetings.
- Participating in a rotation to read EEG (both routine and continuous) from ambulatory or inpatient sites, covering both day and night shifts.
- Engaging in the evaluation of patients admitted for EMU monitoring.
