Job Summary
  • The Business Process Analyst – Quality & Manufacturing Digital Solutions is responsible for improving quality and manufacturing processes by translating business needs into practical digital tools, dashboards, workflows, and reporting solutions. This role partners closely with Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, and IT to understand current processes, identify gaps, and improve how quality-related information is captured, tracked, analyzed, and acted on.
  • The position supports digital solutions for quality and operational processes such as inspections, nonconforming material tracking, corrective actions, audits, calibration, supplier performance, production quality metrics, and management reporting.
  • The ideal candidate has strong business analysis, data analytics, process improvement, and digital tool development skills, with experience supporting quality, manufacturing, or operational processes. Quality systems or engineering experience is helpful, but the primary focus is improving processes, data visibility, and user-friendly digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Business Process Improvement
  • Partner with business teams to review current processes, identify pain points, and recommend practical improvements.
  • Map current-state and future-state workflows for manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and operations processes.
  • Translate manual or paper-based processes into standardized, automated, and easy-to-use workflows.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts focused on efficiency, accuracy, visibility, and user adoption.
  • Document business requirements, process changes, and standard work instructions.


  • Digital Solutions and Automation
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide clear operational and business insights.
  • Create Power Apps applications to improve data collection, approvals, tracking, and workflow visibility.
  • Build workflow solutions using Power Automate to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives that improve how teams capture, manage, and use business information.
  • Partner with IT and business users to test, launch, maintain, and improve digital tools.


  • Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Analyze operational and quality-related data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop KPIs, scorecards, and dashboards that support business decision-making.
  • Create automated reports for management, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and operations teams.
  • Validate data sources and help improve data accuracy, consistency, and usability.
  • Use visual management tools to make process performance easier to understand and act on.


  • Quality and Operations Process Support
  • Support process improvements related to quality, production, materials, audits, corrective actions, and operational tracking.
  • Help teams organize and analyze information used in root cause review, corrective action tracking, and performance reporting.
  • Develop user-friendly tracking tools for recurring business needs such as inspections, nonconforming materials, calibration, supplier performance, and production quality metrics.
  • Participate in process review meetings and improvement initiatives as a business systems and analytics resource.
  • Ensure solutions are practical for end users and aligned with business requirements.


  • Business Systems Development
  • Gather requirements from stakeholders and convert them into functional dashboards, applications, workflows, and reports.
  • Design and maintain digital tools that support business processes such as data collection, approval routing, issue tracking, and operational reporting.
  • Maintain databases, lists, reporting tools, and workflow documentation used by business teams.
  • Test new tools with end users, collect feedback, and make improvements after launch.
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure solutions follow company standards for security, data governance, and maintainability.


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Change Support
  • Work closely with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, engineering, operations, finance, and IT teams.
  • Serve as a bridge between business users and technical resources by clearly communicating needs, requirements, and solution updates.
  • Train users on dashboards, applications, workflows, and updated processes.
  • Support adoption of new tools by creating clear documentation and helping users understand the purpose and benefits of process changes.
  • Promote practical, data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Operations Management preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in business process analysis, business systems, data analytics, operations analysis, continuous improvement, or digital transformation.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, operations, supply chain, or quality environment preferred.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into dashboards, workflows, reports, or user-friendly digital tools.
  • Engineering or quality systems experience is helpful but not required.

  • Experience improving paper-based, manual, or spreadsheet-driven processes.
  • Manufacturing quality, operations, supply chain, or production reporting exposure.
  • HVAC, industrial equipment, or new plant startup experience preferred but not required.

Work Environment

This position is based in a manufacturing environment and requires regular interaction with employees on the production floor and in office settings. The role may involve observing processes, meeting with users, reviewing data and workflows, documenting requirements, testing digital tools, and coordinating with manufacturing, quality, operations, engineering, supply chain, and IT teams.
