Assistant Site Logistics Supervisor

Our client, a leading organization in the construction and logistics industry, is seeking a dedicated Assistant Site Logistics Supervisor to join their team. As an Assistant Site Logistics Supervisor, you will be part of the Site Operations team supporting project management and site coordination efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assistant Site Logistics Supervisor

Location: Michigan City, IN

Pay Range: $25/hour

Shift: First shift (with flexibility mid morning and evening shifts)

What's the Job?

  • Help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment under the supervision of the Site Logistics Supervisor.
  • Collaborate with project management teams and subcontractors to ensure smooth site operations.
  • Assist in labor and subcontractor scheduling and coordination to match workloads with available resources.
  • Maintain a daily activity log to track logistics progress and relevant site information.
  • Create material lists, assist with ordering, and ensure timely availability of materials.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in receiving, logistics coordination, or supply chain operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
