UxS/C-UxS Maritime Domain Training Specialist - Journeyman
A leading organization is seeking a UxS/C-UxS Maritime Domain Training Specialist to support operational integration of unmanned and counter-unmanned systems (UxS/C-UxS) capabilities within the maritime domain. This role requires technical expertise and the ability to operate at a senior level within the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP). The specialist will assist with curriculum design, training, and providing operational guidance on UxS employment to enhance U.S. and coalition force readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom, hands-on, and computer-based training on UxS components, operations, and maintenance.
- Serve as a Training Specialist providing specialized instruction on C-UxS systems in the maritime domain.
- Conduct new equipment fielding and training events.
- Assess user aptitude during all phases of training in accordance with government specifications.
- Adapt training delivery based on student proficiency levels and feedback.
- Provide Red Threat training expertise by simulating adversary UxS tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
- Assist with the preparation of instructor materials such as manuals and workbooks.
- Identify vulnerabilities and assess threats posed by UxS platforms.
- Operate multi-rotor and fixed-wing UxS platforms, including all flight checks.
- Deploy to domestic and international locations to support training and disseminate threat information.
Required Qualifications
- MA/MS with 10+ years of experience; BA/BS with 15+ years; AA/AS with 17+ years; or HS/GED with 19+ years.
- Proven ability to apply the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) at a senior level.
- Demonstrated experience instructing diverse audiences in a military training environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to brief and advise senior leaders.
- Experience in pre-deployment training, field exercises, and technical exchange events.
- Domain specialization in maritime operations, including Navy Afloat and Army Watercraft.
- Proficiency in UxS/C-UxS technologies, systems, operations, and adversarial TTPs.
- Experience applying new technologies and emerging threats into training programs.
- Ability to meet all program-specific Aircrew Training Program (ATP) requirements.
- Experience working in joint, interagency, and coalition environments.
- Ability to complete deployment requirements for assignments greater than 60 days.
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with COTS multi-rotor and fixed-wing UAS platforms.
- FAA Part 107 Certification.
- Amateur Radio Technician License.
