This role supports machine installations, equipment upgrades, troubleshooting efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently.</p><p>The ideal candidate has experience with industrial machinery, machine controls, and automation systems, along with strong problem-solving and technical skills.</p><p><strong>Pay: </strong>$60,000 - $100,000 salary (depending on experience)</p><p><strong>Location: </strong>St. Louis, MO</p><h2>Responsibilities</h2><h3>Machine Programming</h3><ul><li><p>Develop, modify, and maintain machine control programs for injection molding and blow molding equipment</p></li><li><p>Configure machine operating parameters and functional sequences to support production requirements</p></li><li><p>Maintain program documentation, backups, and version control</p></li></ul><h3>Equipment Setup & Integration</h3><ul><li><p>Support installation, startup, and commissioning of new equipment</p></li><li><p>Configure and test machine programs during equipment setup</p></li><li><p>Assist with machine integration, mold installations, and equipment modifications</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to ensure proper machine operation</p></li></ul><h3>Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement</h3><ul><li><p>Diagnose and resolve machine programming and control system issues</p></li><li><p>Support maintenance and production teams during equipment downtime</p></li><li><p>Identify root causes of machine malfunctions related to programming or control logic</p></li><li><p>Recommend and implement programming improvements to enhance reliability, performance, and efficiency</p></li></ul><h3>Documentation</h3><ul><li><p>Maintain accurate records of machine programs, revisions, and configuration settings</p></li><li><p>Develop and update programming, setup, and operational documentation</p></li><li><p>Ensure proper storage and backup of all machine programs</p></li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul><li><p>High school diploma or GED required</p></li><li><p>Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred</p></li><li><p>Experience working with industrial machinery in a manufacturing environment</p></li><li><p>Experience developing, modifying, or troubleshooting machine control programs preferred</p></li><li><p>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills</p></li><li><p>Ability to work effectively with engineering, maintenance, and production teams</p></li></ul><h2>Preferred Experience</h2><ul><li><p>Injection molding and/or blow molding equipment</p></li><li><p>Industrial automation and machine control systems</p></li><li><p>Equipment installation, startup, and commissioning</p></li><li><p>Manufacturing process improvement initiatives</p></li></ul><h2>Physical Requirements</h2><ul><li><p>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds</p></li><li><p>Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach throughout the workday</p></li><li><p>Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment and machinery</p></li></ul><h2>Work Environment</h2><ul><li><p>Manufacturing environment with exposure to moving mechanical equipment</p></li><li><p>Occasional exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and industrial conditions</p></li><li><p>Must follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)</p></li></ul><p>#STARMO</p>PandoLogic.
