Audiologist, Full Time - Healthcare

We are looking for a committed Audiologist to become a part of our team, focusing on conducting medical evaluations for U.S. Veterans as part of the disability benefits process. In this position, you will assess the Veteran's medical history, which is securely uploaded to a designated computer portal, prior to administering a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test. Following these assessments, you will fill out a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) within the portal, creating the necessary medical documentation for the VA to evaluate the Veteran’s eligibility for benefits.

• Conduct in-person disability evaluations for U.S. Veterans.
• Review and interpret electronic medical records through a secure online portal.
• Thoroughly document examination results and complete the required VA forms.

Note: This position does not involve prescribing medical treatments or devices. The determination of disability is made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), not by the Audiologist.

• Part-Time: 2 days per week (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM).
• Average caseload: 3-6 Veterans per day.
• Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary documentation tools.

• Proficient in electronic documentation and navigating web-based portals.
• A professional and empathetic approach when interacting with Veterans.
• Doctorate degree from an ASHA Accredited Institution.
• Current Audiologist license.
