- Monitor and record critical patient vital signs accurately
- Perform advanced diagnostics including 12-lead EKG collection and phlebotomy
- Apply orthopedic splints and set up specialized procedural equipment
- Deploy as an active responder for critical hospital alerts
- Manage behavioral health populations utilizing expert, annual de-escalation techniques
- Provide essential daily care, including patient ambulation, positioning, toileting, and safe transport via stretcher or wheelchair
- Ensure patient safety through proactive, documented direct observation safety sits and appropriate restraint application when clinically required
- Maintain rigorous safety standards by conducting equipment safety checks and specialized decontamination protocol execution
- Coordinate logistical flow of blood products, labs, non-narcotic medications, oxygen tanks, and essential clinical supplies
- Uphold infection prevention mandates and strict HIPAA confidentiality guidelines at all times
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strongly Preferred: Hands-on, patient-facing experience in a hospital environment.
- Preferred: Familiarity with foundational medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interface with clinical teams
- High autonomy to perform routine and critical responsibilities in a flexible, self-directed manner
- Ability to read technical policies and use clinical math skills to compute metrics related to patient care
