Mechanical Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanical Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electromechanical packaging equipment at customer locations. This position requires traveling between multiple sites, providing technical support, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring equipment operates efficiently. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical and electromechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Complete work orders using an iPad or tablet.
• Provide technical support and basic training to customers.
• Maintain accurate service records and reports.
• Travel between customer locations throughout the Phoenix area and occasionally to Tucson.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in a mechanical, electrical, or related field is a plus.
• Experience with mechanical or industrial equipment maintenance.
• Knowledge of mechanical hand tools and troubleshooting techniques.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and perform physical work, including standing, bending, and climbing stairs.
