Non-Invasive Cardiology

Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic General Cardiologist to become a part of our esteemed cardiology team nestled in the scenic mountains of Western North Carolina. The successful candidate will be tasked with diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with various cardiovascular issues. This position prioritizes a holistic approach to patient care, focusing on preventive cardiology, chronic disease management, and teamwork with a multidisciplinary group to achieve the best patient outcomes.

Practice Environment:

• A well-equipped outpatient cardiovascular testing laboratory.

• A dedicated catheterization lab.

• Strong clinical support infrastructure.

• A comprehensive Cardiac Rehabilitation program.

• Both clinic and hospital utilize EPIC electronic medical records.

• A substantial referral network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage a wide array of cardiovascular conditions, including hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias.

• Create and execute personalized care plans that focus on preventive cardiology and lifestyle changes.

• Work alongside other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated and coordinated patient care.

• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests.

• Participate in on-call duties, providing prompt and expert care for urgent cardiac situations.

• Engage in patient education initiatives to promote heart health and prevent disease.

• Ensure accurate and thorough medical documentation in line with hospital protocols.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.

• Board certification in Cardiology.

• Current medical license to practice in North Carolina.

• Strong clinical abilities in managing diverse cardiovascular conditions.
