Faculty Pediatrician

Our organization is looking for a dedicated pediatrician to become part of the teaching faculty at the Center for Pediatrics, situated within the Spartanburg Medical Center in Spartanburg, SC. This practice is committed to providing continuous care for the pediatric population in the area.

• Engagement in both inpatient care (including newborn nursery and pediatric floor admissions) and outpatient services, with access to NICU and PICU specialists for complex cases.
• On-call responsibilities are structured at 1:5, with potential flexibility in the call schedule, including hospitalist duties.
• Opportunities to teach Family Medicine residents and medical students.
• Supervision of Nurse Practitioners.
• A supportive and friendly work atmosphere with a robust support system.
• A well-established and diverse patient demographic, along with a strong community reputation.
• Flexibility to focus on areas of special interest.
• Involvement in procedures such as circumcisions and lumbar punctures.
• Annual funding of $6,000 for Continuing Medical Education (CME).
