Exciting Opportunity for an Orthopedic Surgeon
Location: Alton Memorial Hospital, Just 15 Minutes from St. Louis, MO

Our organization is on the lookout for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to become part of a well-established and successful team at Alton Memorial Hospital, conveniently situated near downtown St. Louis, Missouri.

Role Purpose

This position ensures optimal patient care and safety for those admitted to the assigned service, working collaboratively with attending staff and nursing personnel. Effective communication with staff, patients, and families is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversees the medical care of assigned patients.

  • Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare team members to achieve excellent clinical outcomes.

  • Conducts and documents histories and physical examinations in the patient's medical record as mandated by hospital regulations.

  • Supervises and mentors medical students and residents assigned to the service, addressing their educational needs.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • Doctorate in Medicine

Experience

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience

Supervisory Experience

  • No prior supervisory experience required

Licenses and Certifications

  • Licensed Physician
