Role Purpose
This position ensures optimal patient care and safety for those admitted to the assigned service, working collaboratively with attending staff and nursing personnel. Effective communication with staff, patients, and families is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Oversees the medical care of assigned patients.
Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare team members to achieve excellent clinical outcomes.
Conducts and documents histories and physical examinations in the patient's medical record as mandated by hospital regulations.
Supervises and mentors medical students and residents assigned to the service, addressing their educational needs.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Doctorate in Medicine
Experience
2-5 years of relevant experience
Supervisory Experience
No prior supervisory experience required
Licenses and Certifications
Licensed Physician
